The Letterhead of Daniel Persky: עבד לעברית אנכי עד נצח I am a slave to the Hebrew Language to Eternity

Daniel Persky was born in Minsk in 1887, settled in the United States in 1906, and died there in 1962. He was a Hebraist, educator, and journalist. He taught for many years at the Herzliah Hebrew Teachers' College in New York and contributed to many Hebrew Periodicals of the day.
On his letterhead appeared the statement עבד לעברית אנכי עד נצח
' I am a slave to the Hebrew Language for Eternity"

They just don't make people like that any more.
