What some Booksellers do for a living

Avraham Engelsher, a bookseller in Warsaw was a famed used and new bookseller and publisher. He published the Teshuvot Tzofnat Paneach of the Rogatchover Gaon among much else. Apparently, even then, a bookseller didn't have it financially made, so Engelsher ran a parallel Herring Store down the block. His notice at the end of the Teshuvot Tzofnat Paneach tells customers to look for him at his Herring Store if his bookstore is closed.
